Hogwarts Legacy is an action role-playing video game that transports players to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the game, players can explore iconic locations from the Wizarding World franchise, such as the Forbidden Forest, Diagon Alley, and Hogsmeade, as well as previously unseen areas like the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw common rooms. The appearance of the castle will change to reflect the changing seasons as players progress through the game.
Players can customize their character’s appearance, including voice, body type, and accessories such as glasses, during character creation, and they can choose the character’s house and gender. The game allows players to level up and unlock new spells, talents, and abilities. By completing in-game challenges, such as combat, quests, exploration, and field guide pages, the player character will earn experience points and progress through the levels. Although house points play a role in the game’s storyline, they will not be impacted by the player’s actions. Additionally, players can modify the Room of Requirement and add environmental customization elements as they progress through the game.
