Performance
There are several things to note here. The first is that with version 19.12.2 (Adrenaline 2020), a bug appeared in the AMD driver, causing a serious reduction in the minimum frames in The Division 2 for Navi 10 models. As you can see, this bug is missing in the previous driver. It is however not present for Radeon VII, based on the Vega 20 GPU. This generally results in about a 2% improvement in the overall score. So keep that in mind.
Another thing to note is that the Radeon RX 5600 XT is lagging a bit more behind the GeForce RTX 2060 and the Radeon RX 5700 compared to our initial review in 1080p resolution. It’s just 2-3%, but still worth noting. This is probably a result of hitting more of the memory performance limitations.
Comparing the old Adrenaline 2019 19.12.1 and Adrenaline 2020 19.12.3 drivers, except for the bug in The Division 2, there is generally no performance difference to note. There are minor discrepancies in the different games in both directions that can easily are attributed to normal statistical variation.
