Price to performance
And finally a bit of price performance calculations. The prices are gathered form Amazon.de, with the exception of Radeon VII, which was for Amazon.fr, where there was still a listing. For the whole system, I calculated the price of one, configured as close as possible to the used one, and it was a base of €1325 + the price of the graphics card. Keep in mind that you can configure substantially cheaper version of this PC, so it is possible to achieve a different rankings for the whole system.
There is quite a bit of difference between the 2 diagrams with the 2 price points, which clearly shows that buying an individual graphics card and an entire system can lead to quite different outcomes. If there is a cross section between the two, it is that you will not be bad with either Radeon RX 5700 or 5700 XT in any case. For the NVidia graphics however there is a large difference in what you are buying. For individual cards, the only model from the green camp, that offers competitive price to performance is GeForce RTX 2060, that finished in third place, after the Radeon RX 5600 XT with the new OC bios and the RX 5700. However, when you buy the entire system, the GeForce RTX 2070 Super actually turns out to be extremely competitive with the RX 5700 XT, effectively giving you the same price/performance ratio to the top pick. In this case, even the GeForce RTX 2080 is quite close and is competitive with the Radeon RX 5700, that is half its price! The 60-ties series of both companies are in fact at the bottom, despite the individual low price.
So the choice is yours, and you actually have plenty of options. Good luck!
