Power consumption and temperature

Lets say a few words on the power consumption and the temperature of the cards. The best results are for GTX 1050 Ti and GTX 1650, both 75 W TDP cards. Still, the older card has a slight 10 W lead. Next is GTX 1660 with nearly 70 W more and the last is Radeon RX 570 with over 100 W more. Keep in mind that that is the results for the whole system and all are well within 300 W, so even relatively cheap 400-500 W power supplies should be capable of powering the whole system.

On the temperature side of things it’s a bit more heated race, if you pardon me the pun. The new Palit GeForce GTX GTX 1650 StormX OC is bit over 70 degrees despite its low power consumption, mostly because of the compact cooling system. Surprisingly next to her is the most power hungry card – the Sapphire Radeon RX570 Nitro + OC 4 GB, which had the most advanced cooler. And surprisingly last is the MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Ventus XS, again mostly because of the not so well developed cooling.
