Power consumption
The new revision results in slightly higher power consumption, which is fully justified by the higher performance and remains within the 65W TDP of the processors. It can even be said in 45W TDP. And despite the slightly increased consumption, the temperature remains lower during use. In fact, given the result of the Ryzen 5 2600, it may be completely in order and part of the benefits of 12 nm manufacturing technology. Of course, the overclocked Ryzen 3 1200 “AF” is the hottest, but its difference from the standard 1200 is quite small. It compete in power consumption with the Ryzen 5 2600.
